Kemp Stewart is a retired Senior Logistics Officer with 35 years of military service. His wife, Dr. Amber Stewart, is a physician and coroner working with hospitals in Picton, Trenton, and Cobourg. They reside on the Hillier Creek Estates property with their golden doodles Pinot and Riesling.

Ben Simmons joined HCE as winemaker in May 2011. He comes to us after six vintages in Prince Edward County as Associate Winemaker & Viticulturist with Norman Hardie Wines. Ben has been an instructor for the Niagara College Winery & Vineyard Technician program and has also helped run the wine program at the Fairmont Banff Springs resort. Whether you are completely new to the subject or an opinionated collector, Ben will be happy to show you why he is so enthusiastic about the pleasures of wine and the beauty of Prince Edward County.
